Textract Technology

Structu Rise's products, Textract SDK and Kleptomania Utility, are based on the proprietary Textract Technology. Its history started in 1996, when Pavel Senatorov wrote the first version of recognizer and Kleptomania utility. Commercial application was started with the order for a specific screen recognizer library from a U.S.A. company. Then the operation was converted into business in the fall of 1998. Two major reimplementations of the recognition engine were in 1998 and 2001, making two quantum leaps in recognition accuracy.

The core of the Textract is a proprietary Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine. It is specifically designed to capture the text, printed by the Windows font rasterizer, and thus it enjoys the benefits of being devoted to Windows: it exactly defines precise properties of each letter, including location, font face, style and size. No other OCR provides that exactly.

Textract is implemented on Microsoft Visual C++. Sources are available for a large-scale Textract purchases.

Structu Rise is looking for Consultants/Resellers interested in adding Textract Technology (Textract SDK) to their solutions portfolio. Please write to manager@structurise.com.
